I am also a practicing midwife with 20 years experience of working with women and their families. I have worked in a variety of settings and gained experience in many aspects of health over the years.
Eight years ago I came across Acupuncture as a patient and have been having treatment myself ever since.
I experienced such profound benefits and found the theory of Chinese Medicine fascinating that I decided to study Acupuncture and become a practitioner.
I studied for a year in London in 2013 and was taught by midwives who were also acupuncturists. I wanted to treat pregnant clients at that stage and gained a Diploma in Midwifery Acupuncture. A few years later I went back to study and gained a Diploma in Acupuncture. I wanted to be able to offer this therapy to everyone and not only be able to treat women but their families as well.
